好歌一首。

好一句「禱告，因為我渺小」，顛覆了世上幾多人的自大狂妄。

I have no problem agreeing that external beauty is a gift from God, and that nuns are not all old, stunted and sad anymore. But I do not understand the purpose of showcasing your beauty by competing with others. What will you be thinking if you are Miss Sister 2008? That “I am the fairest of them all, and so I can share with beauty secrets with those less fortunate people in this world?”

Or how about “I look better than you, so I must be more loved by Jesus?”

If you are beautiful, you are beautiful regardless of any competition. A bunch of walking sticks on a runway competing, is nothing but just that —

And just why do people feel so obligated to clear the good name by telling others that nuns can actually be good-looking?

This, my friends, is the question of the day.

寫blog的人都會知道，你用的blog或多或少會提供給網主關於到訪者的資料。再視乎你有沒有再外加其他軟件，你可以知道的，由訪客從那裡來、參 觀過那頁、用的是甚麼browser、OS、熒幕的size和resolution，甚至從那網頁refer過來的，也可以看得一清二楚。

其中一個我會留意的，是讀者從google、yahoo一類的尋索網站，在search甚麼，而因著尋索結果的連線而來。

很搞笑呢，有時真的會同自己講「嘩，關乜事？」

第五位：”edmund.becoming.ca”

高居榜首的尋索字組中，每個月也必定有這個。我不明白的是，既然這些人兄人姐已經識輸入整個網址edmund.becoming.ca，你們還在尋索甚麼？何不直接進來？

第四位：”神創造天地 ppt”

對不起，祂開天闢地的時侯，我來不及將過程輸入powerpoint，不好意思，真係幫唔倒！

第三位：”anson 上帝之子”

雖然我知道Anson一字可能有「神之子」的意思，不過，我還是一廂情願的傾向認為這是我的好友Anson Ann寫paper寫到走火入魔時的結果…

進入世界的使命

馬太福音9:35-10.10

我們常以為信仰就是「講心」而已。是一些腦袋裡要相信的事。然而這樣的了解是錯的。

在這裡，沒有一樣事情是「有心」就足夠的。耶穌不是差他的門徒去玩玩手指、去想一想、發一下白日夢就是了。每有個，都是清清楚楚的動詞，無論我們喜歡與否：宣告、醫治、起來、潔淨、驅趕，的確是要「作」的一些事情的。

耶穌沒有在祂的差遣中，給他們甚麼準備，上甚麼課程，一疊疊的甚麼福音單張。

然而，有的是耶穌自己先作了的榜樣；有的是我們自己成為見證的生命；有的是我們在主裡面的弟兄姊妹。

沒有甚麼單張，只有你和我的生命。別人就是從我們的身上看見／怎樣叫做跟隨耶穌。

Something caught my eyes today when I was browsing around at FS. It was the animated film Persepolis:

Persepolis is the poignant story of a young girl coming-of-age in Iran during the Islamic Revolution. It is through the eyes of precocious and outspoken nine year old Marjane that we see a people’s hopes dashed as fundamentalists take power – forcing the veil on women and imprisoning thousands. Clever and fearless, she outsmarts the “social guardians” and discovers punk, ABBA and Iron Maiden. Yet when her uncle is senselessly executed and as bombs fall around Tehran in the Iran/Iraq war, the daily fear that permeates life in Iran is palpable.

Has anyone seen it?
