What’s worse in a sermon – wrong exegesis, or no exegesis at all? I’ve heard “sermons” that didn’t even mention the Bible!

Well in that case, I simply won’t consider that a sermon.
All joking aside, with this kind of horrid exegesis at the highest leadership level, how can anyone remain to be led/served in such institution? This is really mind-boggling.
