Another Amazon Joke
Another Amazon’s joke/bug/prophecy:
How can the book Jesus And the Eyewitnesses be No.2 in the Bestselling list of Bauckham when it is not even out?

You become like what you worship. You reflect the one you worship.

My guess is that Amazon are accepting orders on it, and for the purpose of the best selling list count an order as a sales even though the product is not yet shipped (and not yet paid for).
If I am right then “sale” for the best selling list means something different from “sale” for the financial accounts.

If that’s the case, it is even more interesting — that Jesus And the Eyewitnesses, a book which has not be released, has already out-(pre)ordered than some of the other well-known books which are released 5-10 years ago?!
Having said that, I do agree that Jesus And the Eyewitnesses is indeed a highly anticipated book of this year (or decade).

What is even more amazing, is that some pre-order books have ratings and even review comments attached to them!! I doubt if those posters have even read the manuscripts …

That I notice all along. The only possibility is that the book is released in Europe but not in America (or vice versa), or that the person got the pre-release version in order to write a review in magazine or journal.
