惟有在人前人後，表裡一致，

「不配」、「不能」
並不是我們從事奉中退縮的借口；
相反，
它們是羨慕善工的信徒奮進之動力。

從提前三章學習

事奉中「第一要緊的」不是才能，是禱告。
惟有貼近那憐恤者之心的，才懂得作甚麼，
並怎樣作。

面對當前事奉的困境，
神要我們回想祂起初的恩情與託付的因由。

從提前一章學習

在今天若我們提到「事奉」總給人透不過氣來的感覺。教會中有做不完的事工和大大小小的需要，這往往叫我們處於有心無力，喘氣求存的掙扎中。

保羅，在他人生路程將近終結的時候，寫下了提摩太前後書和提多書，作為對承接下一棒的人之囑咐；教我們抓住事奉的重心，讓我們事奉的生活變得有意義，並經歷當中的喜樂。

我和Lucia將會從提前、提後、提多這三卷書中，以一章為單元，歸納一些事奉的完則和提醒，與大家分享。為各位事奉的同路人打打氣。

When preparing my class on the pastoral letters, I come across this verse from 1 Timothy:

They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not understand what they are saying or the things they insist on so confidently.

想要作律法教師，卻不明白自己講的是甚麼，主張的又是甚麼。

I find it to be very true. Sometimes we are so focus to defend our theological positions; we are so insist on something so confidently, but have we truly understand what we are so fanatically insisting?

I find most people insist on things just because certain things have always been taught and thought in certain ways.
