   I now know why Edmund failed to teach Karen how to screen capture…. you just told her to hit print screen button… but you didn’t tell her to hit ctrl-v to paste it somewhere… she thought it would just pop up after pressing prt scr…. anyway problems solved now :-)

   hahaha that reminds me of the joke about Microsoft was considering changing the message “press any key to continue” to “press the Enter key to continue” because the tech support had been getting calls asking where the “any” key is….

   very true….lots of time we assume ppl knows….

   For the record, this is what I said:
   “Haha, no secret. Just hit the “prt scr” button in your keyboard. Then paste it and crop it using any graphics program in your computer.”

   The “ctrl-v” short cut might mean different thing in different graphics program (paste as new image/ paste as a layer). While I don’t know what Karen normally use for graphics, I have to use generic words like “paste” and “crop” to describe what she needs to do.

   Sometimes, the problem is really not the instructor or the instructions, it’s the….
