你的「投資組合」

取自羅牧的blog：

今天師母轉來朋友的一個電郵，標題是「股票行情報導」，她說：

「嗨，朋友們，

在這些經濟動盪的日子裏，我得到我親愛的丈夫的允許，我願意把以下這個禮拜的股票行情和你們分享：

比離婚更淒慘，我的資產淨值的一半已化為烏有。但是，我仍然有丈夫。

我知道，不能對你的投資組合能做些什麼，不過，至少我希望這可以照亮你今天!」

仍然有丈夫，仍然有家庭，仍然活著，是值得感恩的地方。

在我們的「投資組合」(portfolio)裏，金融海嘯前，人們找投資顧問去給我們意見，幫忙我們把「投資組合」弄得很「好看」。但是，在我們的投資組合裏，有沒有考慮過天國的事業？家庭？夫妻關係？和內心的資源增值呢？這些項目，是任何風暴不能吹走、地震不能毁壞、海嘯所不能吞噬的，才是我們真正的「淨值」(net worth)。

祈願上帝的兒女，學懂了什麼是最有價值的東西，重新安排自己的「投資組合」，不再管得得失失，把應該歸給上帝的給上帝，把應該為主而用的擺上，為主使用。

我希望能看見，在金融海嘯裏，教會的奉獻不跌反升，福音事工不減反加，上帝的兒女不為明天憂慮，天天仰望上帝，放心依靠，為主而活，活得更豐盛，更快樂。

聖經說︰「你的錢在那裏，你的心在那裏。」

    Heard many different opinion about the 金融海嘯, however, it impact is not only to the stock market and personal portfolio, but to our JOB SECURITY, CAREER, FUTURE WORKING ENVIRONMENT, etc and you can imagine what kind of the problems will form if those thing had been destroyed. I totally understand what 師母 mentioned, but this 金融海嘯 go far beyond our personal investment…indeed yes, we need to wisely allocate the time and treasure His daily provision and grace. At the end, I know His Grace is sufficient to us.

    I think it is important to think of what its means by security. I do not want to make it sound easy, let just say that I got laid-off before too. And I was laid-off during a time when I need money most. It was not easy. And then you started to think what you are going to lose, your existing way of living, your self-esteem, what you have taken for granted, what you think you can never live without and etc…. it was devastating.

    But at the same time, the present financial crisis does provide the opportunity and challenge to live differently. There is nothing bigger and more comforting than living with a hope that is planted not on “JOB SECURITY, CAREER, FUTURE WORKING ENVIRONMENT”, but in Him.

    And just how real is your faith if it can not bring us through such crisis with peace and joy?

    May God have mercy on us, all of us.

    Living with faith in Him is a blessing. His grace has various faces that gives us so many surprises. I just want to point out that 金融海嘯 can go further beyond our imagination (is border than we think) and the impact will influence to those who are not greedy and working hard for their life.

    Oh definitely. There is no such thing as 一人做事一人當的。That’s why we, esp. as Christians, need to prepare ourselves for it — for we do not have the option to hide in the mountains — we are all in this together. Except we could see this whole thing differently.
