Please take the time and pray for Nigeria
Religious riots sparked by the publishing of cartoons of the prophet Muhammad continued into their fifth day in Nigeria as Christian mobs in this southern city attacked Muslim motorists, leaving at least 22 dead. Nationwide, the toll was at least 65 dead and likely to rise.
The Christian Association of Nigeria issue this strong statement on the 21st with phrase like "C.A.N. may no longer be able to contain our restive youths should this ugly trend continue", I hope and pray this will not be interpreted as a Christian warrant to start violence and killing people.
Please take some time and pray for Nigeria.

Lord, I can’t imagine how Christians can start killing other people, no matter what the circumstances are. But Lord, I also can’t imagine what these Nigerian Christians are going through right now when their churches are built to the ground; when their relatives, brothers and sisters in Christ are killed every day. I don’t know how to pray for them Lord, please forgive me, it can’t even describe it. Holy Spirit, please speak to them, comfort them, guide them. Help them Lord, from being conquered by evil but conquer evil with good. Hear me, Lord. In your name I pray, Amen.
