A glimpse of the universal, the eternity and…God. That’s the power of great music. You reminded me that I still have a CD of Gould playing Goldberg that I left in HK. Not sure if it is the same recording.

Yes, it is wonderful isn’t it? As for the CD version, I doubt it was the same performance (as in the video). I suspect it is recorded around the same time, but I notice subtle differences between his 1981 audio recording and what’s in the video.
