Do something
Conference
The world will change only when the good people do something.
Something.

Home
After seeing our car made a detour, my daughter made a profound statement on her way to school this morning:
Why do we need go back?
Because we need to go home.
(Jocelyn, age 3 1/2)
Cleaning Up Our Garage
Jocelyn says:
Daddy said the first Monday of September is Labour Day, so we should do some labour work. We were cleaning up our dirty and muddy garage this afternoon after church. I did a lot of scrubbing and washing. And I “accidentally” made Daddy all wet with the super water gun! (Don’t tell Daddy, but I do know Labour day is not for physically work, but hey, as long as I can play with water, who am I to argue!
If our first understanding of God is more about his anger and judgement than about his love, mercy and generosity, it is not only natural but indeed inevitable that we come to outwork these values ourselves. If we believe that God doesn’t ‘take’ to those outside the church, we too, in turn, will begin to despise or patronize them. Each of us is made in the image of our god; our view of God’s character will reflect itself in our attitudes, behaviour, tone and body language. Behaviour is always the echo of belief. (Steve Chalke, Intelligent Church, p21)
Heritage Train Ride
Jocelyn says:
Hi everybody! I had an awesome train ride on Saturday! It is my first time ever to ride on a train. Enjoy the pictures!
