Only if …

Imagine how good it is if this was real…..

Yeah, dream on, parents!

We are back!

We were in Vancouver for the past week. I am happy that I was able to spend all my time with Cc and Jocelyn. We haven't had that much time together since Cc's delivery!

Jocelyn has been behaving quite well throughout the trip (God does answer prayers!). Because we were together most of the time, I learned just how demanding it can be for a house-wife/mother to stay home all the time with her kids! Believe me, it is extremely tiresome and is much much worse than any over-time, 24/7 job you can think of!

It is also good to see my aunt and uncle too. I hope and pray especially that aunt will get well soon.

And Charis and Anson, thanks for your birthday cake and everything! It is such a delight seeing you 2. And Charis, remember to take good care of yourself. Watch out your sitting position!

Um…. just where should we go next time……

As you can see…

As you can see, my family of 3 are enjoying chicken wings somewhere in a remote location which I have no choice but the kill you if I tell you where it is….

Okay, I am sure everyone can tell where we are. So how about this: for the first person to name the place we are at in this picture, I will personally buy something for you as a souvenir. How's that for a blog owner!

So go ahead. Leave your comment and guess where this is!

Thank you

I am so happy that some of us can sit down (finally) and have a chat about life in general. I's been such a while!

And of course, being in a house with so little furnitures and cooking utensils brings back a lot of memories too……haha!

I am back!

Thanks for all your prayer support for me and my family during this time. I have safely landed in Toronto today at around noon. After a good long nap, I attended the rehearsal for Margaret and Kevin's wedding ceremony tonight!

I have updated my Brazil journal entry as well. Take a look!

Greetings from Brazil!

Woohoo! I finally have internet access! We are now back to Sao Jose from the neighboring towns. For the past week, our team broke into groups of 3 and stayed with different brothers and sisters from the local church here and went through some discipleship training materials with them daily. Their responses are very good. The sharing is deep and genuine. We all treasure our time here.

We also had a chance to have conversations with the local Chinese here. Their working hours are just crazy. Some open until 1 in the morning and open again at 7am! (no shift, just the same couple) But what I admire most is the enthusiasm that is displayed by brothers and sisters here. They have weekend meetings that start at 9pm and go all the way to midnight. Many of them have to travel another 45mins back home! Their dedication is definitely something we have to learn in Toronto.

On Friday many of the core-members of the church also shared with us their spiritual growth during the past year. We also talked briefly the future partnership between our 2 churches and our focus on encouraging the young people from both churches to interact more in the future.

We will stay in Sao Jose until Tuesday. Then we will travel to Sao Paulo and then back to Toronto. Please continue to pray for us for the rest of our stay. May the peace and strength of our Lord be with us all!

P.S. Enjoy the photos!
