We had thanksgiving dinner at my parents’ place this year. We are glad that auntie Lau can join us as well. And of course, we have baby Jocelyn joining us too — though she is still a long way before she can try daddy’s hallmark turkey dinner!

Of course, it is also a time for me to reflect upon the blessings I have from God in the midst of all the sufferings that are happening around the world right now. To that, I agree whole-heartedly the conclusions made by Tyler@Codex:

I find that the key things to remember is that (1) there is nothing I have done to deserve my blessings; and (2) to those who have been given much, much will be required.

I only hope that I may be faithful with all I have been blessed with.

That is my prayer as well.

話說婚宴遊戲之一要矇著新郎的眼。在他只能說「老婆」，而新娘只能答「老公」的情況下在婚宴上找尋另一半。

途中當然經過不少跌跌撞撞，也有其他雜聲在擾亂著他；更有人走上前用自己的手作冒認……

一直帶著矇上眼的新郎走著，有感真正在婚姻中豈不也是如此？

而能夠真正找著你的另一半，卻始終是靠這夫婦二人的聲音。

不錯，溝通不是萬靈丹。
但卻肯定是最佳的藥引。

這是多少人知道卻又不願行的真理。

We had a short gathering with Andrew, my God-son, the Groom-To-Be tonight. What did we talk about? Well, to cut the story short, let’s say we made the following conclusion:

1. Andrew will need to buy a dog-house regardless of getting a dog or not.
2. His choice of groomsmen is based on his very lousy judgement.
3. His wedding banquet will likely be a fitness test to him than anything else.

Happy birthday mom! I am happy to be able to celebrate with you this year. But next year, make sure you will buy your own BBQ pork because by that time your grand-daughter will start eating it!
