當全世界的華人在這個七一周末「集體回憶」著香港的回歸十年；當加拿大的華人傳媒「清一色」以鋪天蓋地之勢報導回歸慶典，

我卻選擇和家人慶祝另一個七一紀念：加拿大的140週年國慶。

沒為甚麼，只因這是我，和我下一代的—

家。

一個人晚上回家，女兒和太太都已經睡了。一步入大門口，看見女兒好好心機的將鞋放「好」：

再想像她放鞋時那古靈精怪的表情，

總會令疲倦的我，
