No, I don’t need it.

Andrew & Dion from Empire Remixed wrote 2 pieces on the coming of the iPhone to Canada. Andrew, after watching CBC interviewed those who had slept on the street so as to lineup for the phone, rightly asked:

Why is it that we celebrate those who sleep on the street in order to consume, and yet shun those who sleep on the street because they can’t afford to be anywhere else…what is wrong with us?

My sister once asked me if I am interested in getting an iPhone. She wanted to assure me that all her IT friends are getting one and it supposed to have fixed all problems that cell phones have ever had…

“No,” I replied. “I just don’t need one”.

Besides, what so cool about it when everyone you know is carrying one?

What a phone truly reveals

I marvel my blogger friends to be able to withhold themselves to say anything about Apple’s new iPhone. And after all the hype and dust settles at the end of the day, I invite you — especially those of you living in North America —
