Last day.

Dear Co-Workers & Team Members at Longo’s,

As many of you probably know, today is my last day (at least officially … I’m still not done packing up my stuff yet!). But before I leave, I would like to take time to say thank you to you all.

Over the last five years, I’ve had the privilege of working with perhaps the most hard-working and dedicated IT team that I’ve ever worked with. A big thank you to John C, Zico, and Rob P for your friendship, leadership and support. My sincere thanks also goes to the rest of the IT team for all the creativity, dedication and sacrifices you have made to make things happen.

And to all my co-workers at Longo’s, the biggest thank you of all. The experience, wisdom, and abilities that I take with me are the result of working with such talented and dedicated people who care so passionately about what we do, and who demonstrate it every day. I will certainly miss you all!

It was wonderful knowing you in this journey of 5 years at Longo’s. I would carry forward all the learnings I got from you throughout my life.

By the way, (and he made me say this), working in the same room with Rick over the last month has been the most un-interrupted, efficient and effective weeks of my entire career as a programmer analyst!

I wish you all a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

Sincerely,
Edmund.

So how do you feel now as you have closed a chapter in your life and starting a new one?

  2. Excited of course! I have so many things in mind that I simply need time to sort them out which to do first!

So do you mind sharing what’s next for you? Any updates on the discernment process?
