   UnChristian is a book about perceptions from non-Christians on Christians, and what we should do about such perceptions. Its purpose is not so much about testing whether these perceptions are true or not.

   As the authors argue, even if they are not and even if our non-Christian friends have all misunderstood us, the task is still on us as to how we can can turn the tide. Nobody will do that for us.

   So I guess Wright’s book might help some what, and bust some myths (only) if it is read by our non-Christian friends…

   I hear what you are saying, but I just wonder if the UnChristian surveys are well conducted or not.

   Taking a peek inside Wright’s book, it seems like he is specifically targeting and criticizing the UnChristian book’s thesis and data.

   Well, I have read neither, so I cannot comment further. Maybe one day I will.
