Similar story here: Luke 5:1-11.
This made me start searching for all the second-person imperatives in red letters in the gospels…. I think it’s worth meditating on them.
I think this is also exactly what prompted John Piper to write his book “What Jesus Demands from the World”. He search for all the imperative verbs (i.e. commandments) of Jesus and reflected on them in this book:

Surprisingly enough, Luke 5:1-11 is the same passage used in my convocation tonight….. hmmm…. God must want to say something to me here.
