Hmm, EBCM does it once a month – the so called “I.T. service”, by showing a 30 minute testimony or sermon from DVD, then ending with a 10 minute conclusion.
Is it immoral? hmm….never thought about it this way.
but one thing very true is that, for congregations with only one full-time rector, preaching is perhaps just 10% of what he does every week – I guess it’s not what he wanted, but that’s just the way how churches can function/survive these days. if a rector focuses his main duty on preaching and leaving the other matters behind, things will start to derail…
uh…church business…a very complicated matter that i hardly understand…
why can’t lives be simple in this modern world?
